Lately I’m noticing
his world, atypical
full of wonder
in each stride, in every challenge
he finds his way.
Lately I’m noticing
his smile
holds joyÂ
his laughter
resounding hope.
Lately I’m noticing
his influx of questions
followed by prayers whisperedÂ
his resilience
instills unwavering faith.
Lately I’m noticing
in the quiet moments of motherhood
in the depths of uncertainty
God’s embrace
around us both.
Lately I’m noticing
the depthsÂ
of disabilities
in his differences
I see beauty.
