To the quiet rebellions that keep you going. Love every word of this, Jen. Continuing to pray for you and your family. Thank you for pouring your heart into this. ❤️

Absolutely beautifully written, friend. All of these acts of resistance written out into a moving narrative make my heart ache for you—and I’m sure they will make others in the same season feel seen 🫶🏻 Praying for you

Such a brave piece Jen which resonates on so many levels ways following the loss of my mother. I would add to your list some of my own small rebellions:

Wear her favourite perfume / cry when you put it on / read her letters over and over / keep any piece of paper she's written on / speak to her in your dreams / speak to her when you're awake / refuse to stop hurting / embrace your sadness / it keeps her alive / it keeps you alive.

Thank you so much for sharing your grief - and for your beautiful and heartfelt words. ❤️
